What is Holding You Back from Losing Weight and Getting Healthy?

What’s holding you back?

Why changing on the inside can help your outside look and feel a whole lot better.

A great diet and exercise regime is wonderful, but that is not what this is about.

Have you ever felt very conflicted? Part of you really wants to get slim, healthy, more

muscular, etc , but the other part of you wants to keep pigging down the treats and evening

snacks or desserts. You want to get fit and healthy but at the same time want to still be able

to eat the cookies and ice cream. We tend to get attached to what we think brings us instant joy

and happiness, while thinking these treats are irreplaceable. We are selling ourselves short

thinking we can’t imagine our lives without all of the delicious sweets and unhealthy foods that

bring us instant pleasure. Food is a huge part of your life and we are not saying to give it up.

We need to find out how to get rid of the bad foods without giving up the pleasures we get from

these foods. If you feel good already, you will not run to the cupboard to grab these foods you

do not eat! That is a HUGE trick. When on a great diet with moderate exercise you will naturally

feel much better throughout the day, limiting you need for excess foods. You want to find a way

to feel great just being you without reaching for those nasty foods! So what is holding you

back? What are your limiting beliefs or excuses for not feeling better naturally? We can always

blame the bad eating habits, lack of exercise, not enough time, my metabolism sucks, and so on.

What we need to do is focus on how we see ourselves. Do you see yourself as someone who

constantly struggles with your weight? Do you talk about your weight all the time when you are

out with friends trying to enjoy your good time? This is what holds us back. You are keeping

this struggle alive and creating this identity yourself. You need to see yourself as someone who

is temporarily overweight and focus on a new you. A new you that does not struggle with weight,

does not eat bad foods, enjoys exercise, doesn’t talk about how crappy they feel, doesn’t have

low self esteem, etc. You want to feel good about yourself! Change the way you talk about

yourself. Think of yourself as a powerful politician. They do whatever they can to talk good

about themselves while keeping all the negative aspects they would feel in the dark. In doing

this they create more happiness and greater self esteem. It will also boost their overall

identity as everyone will focus on the finer things about them. With these little mind tricks

you can easily overcome any obstacle such as a weight loss diet and exercise program. You just

need to feel good about how you see yourself first! After that everything becomes much easier.

You will no longer have a need to snack because you are depressed, stressed, or whatever other excuse you might have because you already feel great!
